Storymix is proud to present our new, ten-episode podcast: Craft and Conversation. Our mission is to place children of colour at the heart of exciting and engaging stories and help change the face of publishing. To do this we need to find, support and elevate new voices from communities traditionally underrepresented in the children's book world. This podcast is one more way Storymix is reaching out, sharing knowledge and building a community of writers and illustrators who we hope will feel empowered to share their stories – and maybe even write or illustrate for us!
Author and Creative Writing Tutor Maame Blue and Journalist Azi Farni guide the podcast’s conversation. Each episode offers:

Authentic discussion on the unique and universal issues faced by diverse writers and illustrators, such as reflecting heritage without resorting to stereotypes and tackling big topics like racism.
